What would be your highest priorities in the next four years to reduce the total energy use and emissions from transportation?

More charging stations, and the development of a drone delivery ‘SkyWay’. Less fuel, less traffic, less smog.

Over the next 4 years, would you support increasing the space for walking, biking, and public transit and reducing that for private motor vehicles in your community? How would you do that?

Supporting safe, and efficient space for us to travel the way we wish, while promoting the choices that leaves our cars in the driveway, because we’ve made things better! The electric drone taxi is not far off and the city must take this into account. Plan for it.

Would you actively encourage the provincial government to prioritize public transit, walking and biking infrastructure over roadway expansion projects such as the proposed interchanges on the Pat Bay Highway?

There are junctions where all these things come together, and then branch off to our respective cities. The Province must make them work with ALL cities. Working in tandem instead of this back and forth, playing favorites. We all need to get where we’re going. To delay only costs more later.

Do you support making walking safer and more enjoyable in the City of Victoria?

Absolutely, and I have found some ways.

What specific policies, projects and expenditures would you support in the next four years to make walking safer and more pleasant in the City of Victoria?

Using proven technologies, we can make crosswalks safer with better controlled lighting, and less stop time for vehicles. I have suggested we build the mechanics here, when speaking with Public Works. I have also noticed the turnaround time for traffic adjustments are not sufficient. Researching has shown me, we can do better. We have talent. Let’s get to work!

Do you support building a community-wide network of all ages and abilities (“AAA”) bike routes in the next four years?

Yes

Do you support completing the downtown AAA bikeway grid on Wharf St, Humboldt St and Vancouver St?

Yes

Would you support completing the 24/7 bus lanes along the Douglas Street/Highway 1 corridor, as well as along other routes such as the Pat Bay Highway as a high priority for municipalities and the BC government in the next four years?

Yes

Would you support keeping the E&N railway as a railway and actively campaign for electrified passenger and freight services?

Absolutely, yes.

Would you support and actively campaign for street-level electrified rapid transit in the greater Victoria region? If so, along what routes?

Contact me directly concerning your area, as a number of Solutions come to mind. However, taking to the sky, will ease congestion on the ground, and limit digging up our streets This is NOT a far flung idea. This will be a reality, and proper planning of our infrastructure, is imperative. “Park and Sky”. 😀

In the next four years, would you support removing the requirements for off-street vehicle parking from new and infill developments?

On a case by case basis. And keeping in line with our positive goals. Multi level parking with rooftop housing works.

In the next four years, how, would you activate and bring more people into public spaces within your municipality, including sidewalks, public squares, streets and parks?

The need to evolve our municipality to accommodate the will of the people, is a fundamental responsibility. By supporting our Future with an electronic, encrypted, secured currency, we can achieve where others have yet to imagine. With this ‘Securrency’, more people, will have more time to socialize. And the increased disposable income will be better for business. Because this Securrency is for our local economy, we prove our support, for People, working and living here. This form of Electronic Basic Income for profit is already in use by international conglomerates, proving that it works. I just want to make sure that, People come before profit. And if we must sacrifice people for profit? Then that business model isn’t really profitable anymore, anyhow! Read about my ideals. I will explain anything you need. Thank you!😀
